Right by the water front, great location. This place has loads to offer, a pool , gym, turkish bath,sauna, squash courts...... alsorts.
The rooms are ok, nothing fancy. They are very spread out though. Id to walk half a mile and up and down about 4 flights of stairs. The breakfast is also ok. The staff are very nice
Hotel directly on the sea side, very friendly service and also the reception made a very friendly and good job. Share a lot of nice tips and informations around that area. We stay there for a longer weekend and enjoy the service and location. Lot of parking space , pool gym and sauna. Beach good, a lot of opportunities for any water sport and cycling. We come back, that’s quite clear. Thanks for the nice service.

Not stayed at the hotel for years but was nice to be welcomed back and told of the changes. Really like the new rooms, comfortable beds, great view, sofa and chair with table for working at. Great nights sleep, followed by a really nice breakfast and great coffee. Highly recommend and will use again.
It’s a top location. I was there for a meeting and everything was well arranged. View from the restaurant is great. So if you book a room ask for the sea view. Lunch was also well arranged. The only thing was the tomato soup. Unfortunately there was little flavor and way too much tomato puree. Other than that it was a top experience and I will definitely come back when I am in Den Helder………
We visited this hotel for a weekend in Den Helder, and the location is perfect. It's not in the center of Den Helder but it's a very short cycle from the train station, right on the seafront and right on the doorstep of a beautiful national park. The staff were very friendly, and the rooms are huge with some of the most comfortable beds you'll ever sleep on. We didn't get a chance to try out the restaurant, but supposedly it serves great food and the smells coming from it suggested that it's true.
I have stayed here, on and off, for over 15 years. The staff have been consistently friendly, helpful and efficient and have provided a consistently good service. The hotel is in a nice location with direct sight of the sea and coast, within 100m of the sea, so the weather is variable and it can be windy, however the views are nice. It is easy to get to the centre of Den Helder, driving along main roads or along a quiet road inside the dike, and it is also a gentle walk along the dike or walk/cycle ride along the promenade, which ends by the Texel ferry terminal. Whenever I am in the area this is my first choice of hotel. As it is popular it is worth booking early at peak times as it may get full.

Great location on the seafront with plenty of free parking. Room was a good size with a balcony equipped with lighthouse view.. The bar restaurant has a wide range of tasty options including daily specials. Staff are friendly and fun. Swimming pool is a good size and has a sauna next to it.
